Hello all.  

Just wanted to write and let you all know I did a bit of cutting on my flist and community list.  Mostly communities I'm not interested in anymore, or aren't very active.  The people were people that either didn't comment on any of my posts even though I comment on theirs or didn't post to their journals.   Seeing as how it's early here and I have a toddler it's quite possible I cut someone by mistake, if I did, please forgive me and remind me to add you back on to the list :)

I'm just trying to make my life a bit easier on lj as my son is a bit more active, and our life this summer is going to be very busy and I needed lj streamlined a bit for me :)

So, this week's verse came to me during Bible study this morning.  Like a bolt of lightening, I heard a voice say, "This is the verse to use today," so here it is.

Matthew 27:51  And behold, the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom; and the earth shook and the rocks were split.

 

 Oh lots of things to talk about and nothing to talk about, so this is mostly so I don't get poked :)  *hugs the person who knows who they are*

 I didn't do this post last week because - well I don't really have a good excuse LOL.  I didn't have a verse picked out, I got very busy with RL, and frankly I was feeling uninspired.  But I'm feeling inspired today, and this may be long, and it may be a two-parter.  So without further ado...I give you the TWO verses for this week.  

The first is I Samuel 13:14  But now your kingdom shall not endure.  The Lord has sought out for Himself a man after His own heart, and the Lord has appointed him as ruler over His people, because you have not kep twhat the Lord commanded you.

And the second Acts 13:22  After He had removed him, He raised up David to be their king, concerning whom He also testified and said, "I have found David the son of Jess, a man after My heart, who will do all My will."

Okay, anyone who knows me, knows I write and vid, I'm hopeless with pictures/icons/headers...etc.  So if anyone who sees this is interested I would love a Torchwood lj header/banner.  Ianto/Jack, maybe a small shot of the kiss, definitely Ianto in his pink shirt (love that) with some pink in the picture - I would be huge grateful, since I am hopeless when it comes to pictures and stuff like this...and I would totally be willing (within reason LOL) to repay with a fic or a vid :)

Hey everyone,

I'm posting this early this week, in fact there may be two religious posts this week..I'm just feeling prodded and moved by the Spirit, and since I started this I promised to listen when I'm feeling the Spirit move me. Well, my parents sent me this youtube vid, and I think there is someone out there that could use this. It brought tears to my eyes but was just so moving and the wisdom of this boy is just amazing. So, please take the 2 minutes to listen to this, it truly is amazing.

And for all of you out there that aren't interested in my religious posts...I'd actually still like you to listen to this - it's a good message - but again, it's your choice. Skip it if you want - I'll never know LOL. And sorry but I still don't know how to embed a youtube vid WITH an lj cut...so...without further ado...here it is.

Yup, it's back.  I actually had to think long and hard about which one I wanted to post this week.  I'm skipping themes and choosing a Christmassy verse..and no it's not the one you're thinking of...I will get to that one :)

So, update, my son is sick.  We are still planning on leaving on Thursday, but the chances of me posting anymore stories this week went to zero.  Sorry.  I will try to get back to posting next week, but I make no promises.  I'm sure I'll be digging out from e-mail catch up.  I will get back to posting ASAP as soon as the convention is over.  I promise.  Thank you everyone for the well wishes!!!  And thanks everyone for reading and being patient!!!

I know I promised to post the next chapter of Obi-Wan today, but my hubs got us a new computer while I was gone, and we're still working on transferring files, and the story is on the old computer still, and it doesn't have internet anymore...I promise I will post sometime this week.  I'll also try to post some of my first BSG stories as well.

Thanks everyone for all their love and support.  And Latte - this is for you - I just can't work without my pilot porn pics!!!  I have the nice greenish vista background and it's new and fun but it's not pilot porn :) or Jedi Porn :)  So I'm feeling the pain you were a week ago.

I just wanted to say a big Thank you to everyone, for being so supportive this week, and to all of those who wished us a Happy 4th - THANK YOU SO MUCH!  I really didn't intend for that entry to be about me and my husband, I didn't realize how many people on my flist already knew we were military - LOL.  We have had it VERY EASY and my heart really goes out to all those men and women who are away from home and their families holding down the fort back here.  So Thank each and every one of you for your support.  It truly means a lot to me and I whole-heartedly appreciate it.

You all are wonderful.  We go home tomorrow and I'll be posting stories again starting Monday!
