So I responded to so_out_of_ideas post about icons and here are the seven in question with their explanations :)




This was the first/okay second death in the Joss Verse that made me cry (Buffy's mother was the first..hit a little too close to home) But Fred's death was so surprising and sad that to this day I can't watch that eppy without crying, but their love was just so fantastic..so this is my love and my sad icon at the same time.




Scoobies to the rescue...this scene from Buffy The Vampire Slayer Season four episode Pangs... just always cracked me up...Giles hangs up the phone and tells Buffy it was a wrong number and thinks he was calling for reinforcements and reinforcements are Willow, Anya, and Xander on bicycles..just cracks me up - talk about friends to the rescue in the direst of circumstances and they find any way possible to provide help.




Buffy in that hat...one of the few fashion faux paus on that show...that hat was just wrong...but she and Willow are both happy here, so I'm happy :) Plus, that hat, you just have to smile :)




Superman Returns...my other obsession...I just loved this scene with Superman and Lois..they so should have kissed!




Okay...Obi-Wan, if anyone has read my Obi-Wan fic, they'll know I'm obsessed with Ewan's portrayal of Obi-Wan...not Ewan...his portrayal of Obi-Wan..and dude this icon says it all...you can never have enough Obi!!!!




My sole religious icon right now...it's from a vid on youtube, that everytime I watch it - it just gives me goosebumps...God gives us Everything and we forsake it all until we really need Him and there is He is waiting for us to come back to Him - and through it all He is trying to bring us closer to Him and only when we hit rock bottom do we turn to Him. Just reminds me of how much I'm supposed to trust Him and lean on Him on a daily basis (believe me I need the daily reminder LOL )




I saw it in the Mini-Series...and I didn't even want to WATCH the miniseries! My hubs had to cajole me into watching it..and then I saw the chemistry and I was hooked...so RDM what do you say about that? Bring back Mini Kara/Lee!!!!
